I got accepted into law school. I cannot make those words penetrate my brain to recognize them as the truth. In 3.5 years.....I will be a lawyer! It is a known fact that less than 5% of lawyers are black, and even less than that are black females. This is my journey that I embark upon to increase that percentage.
This fall I will take my place as a 1L at University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in the class of 2024. I am inviting you to join me on my journey to JD. I will share my struggles, successes, and most importantly advice for those who will come behind me. I will be updated this blog as much as possible, so please feel free to share this with anyone that you think it might help, or that you think would be interested.
